We are a state licensed ranch style home facility, providing assisted living service for the care of the elderly, located west of Sacramento off highway 80 in Dixon California. We offer a continuum of care for our senior residents, managing care across all stages of need. Throughout those stages we strive to enhance residents’ lives with activities, companionship, safety and comfort in a communal living environment, and we do so in a manner that makes community living affordably beneficial to our residents and their families. We have one shared room rate for all residents, a fixed cost of $2,950 per month, all included. Our flat rate is unique in the care home community, as our residents enjoy no added fees; no levels of care charges, no service fees or menu pricing, and our residents pay this fixed rate for as long as they choose to call Solano Life House home. In 1979, Yolo Hospice was founded by local volunteers who wanted to provide our community with needed hospice services. Jack Berger, M.D., Lefty Schultz, minister, Nancy Dubois, psychologist, and Lois Jacob, R.N. established Yolo Hospice based on the principle of caring for the mind, body and spirit of each person facing a life-limiting illness.Yolo Hospice has expanded to meet the diversifying needs of our growing community. As a not-for-profit organization, Yolo Hospice remains devoted to our mission, core values, volunteer roots and community.

Our Team Approach
The key to Yolo Hospice is our well-rounded team approach that addresses the needs of patients and loved ones. Our interdisciplinary team develops a care plan that focuses on each patient’s individual physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Physicians, nurses, hospice aides, spiritual care counselors, bereavement specialists and social workers are all part of the team. Trained volunteers also offer companionship and other services based on patients’ needs.
Yolo Hospice cares for all individuals in our service areas who qualify for hospice care regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or gender. Yolo Hospice also serves those without insurance or the ability to pay.

We are a local, family oriented State Licensed Private Duty Home Care Agency, providing care to patients in the comfort of their own homes or other living arrangements. Our services are available when you need them with NO limitations on the number of hours you need us. We offer 160 caregivers to choose from… and for your peace of mind all caregivers are insured, bonded, with background checks. Most of our caregivers have been with us, 5 years and more. Our caregivers have been with us so long, they’re family.
We assume all administrative, insurance and payroll responsibilities and provide our staff with Workers Compensation Insurance. One of our special services is assisting you with reimbursement possibilities from your insurance companies.
