About NorthBay Healthcare:
We Are Nonprofit, an Important Difference
NorthBay Healthcare opened its first hospital in 1959 and remains Solano County’s only locally based, locally managed nonprofit healthcare organization. NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield and NorthBay VacaValley Hospital in Vacaville are known for providing quality services.
Our hospitals offer 24-hour emergency care, intensive care, and sophisticated surgical and diagnostic services. Both have maintained accreditation from The Joint Commission.
NorthBay Healthcare is a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network. The collaboration of Solano County’s leader in health care and the world-renowned leader in medicine provides patients a care team that combines the best minds to tackle the most complex cases.
The 132-bed NorthBay Medical Center is a regional center for pregnancy and childbirth, and is proudly designated as a Baby Friendly facility. Our Newborn Intensive Care Unit provides the most sophisticated services for premature or ill newborns within 50 miles. NorthBay Heart & Vascular Center offers the only open-heart surgery center in the county. The Emergency Department is a Chest Pain Center and STEMI Receiving Center for heart attack patients and a primary stroke center. And our Level II Trauma Center was the first established in Solano County and continues to be the busiest in the area.
The NorthBay Medical Group with offices in Fairfield, Vacaville and Green Valley, includes more than 100 primary care and specialty care providers.
Our other keynote services include the NorthBay Cancer Center and the Center for Orthopedics. In 2016 NorthBay HealthSpring Fitness opened, the first medical fitness center in the county.
