Nonprofit of the Year<\/h1>\n

Criteria for Nominating the \u201c2025 Nonprofit of the Year\u201d <\/strong><\/h2>\n

Below is the criteria for nominating the \u201c2025 Nonprofit of the Year.\u201d<\/strong>
\nThe deadline is Thursday, February 5, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Nominee nonprofit must be a Member of the Chamber of Commerce.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Nonprofit organizations include service clubs, civic groups, churches, veterans\u2019 organizations, social service organizations, educational organizations, animal rescue organizations and cultural organizations.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Nominee nonprofit must be located in Dixon or provide key services in Dixon.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Nominee must have a positive impact in the Dixon community and\/or to those that they serve.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. Nominee must demonstrate outstanding dedication to their nonprofit mission.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. Nominee must have involvement in community events and programs.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. Nominees cannot be a prior Nonprofit of the Year winner.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  8. Nonprofit entities cannot nominate themselves.<\/strong><\/li>\n

    Please submit a letter of recommendation explaining why you believe the nominee is worthy of this prestigious award. Recipient of this award will be chosen based on the criteria above, NOT on the number of nominations received.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    All letters submitted must be signed and dated. All letters must be received at the Chamber office no later than 12 noon on Thursday, February 5, 2026. You can mail, email or drop off your nomination to the Chamber. OR follow the link to nominate through the Google form here:\u00a0https:\/\/forms.gle\/NAMNokrBhZm9AdyF8<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

    You must include the following information, or your nomination will not be considered \u2013<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Nonprofit name, address, phone number, and Director or President<\/strong><\/li>\n
    2. Your name, address, and phone number<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n

      This award should be a surprise to the recipient. Therefore, you should not tell them that their nonprofit has been nominated. The Dixon \u201c2025 Nonprofit of the Year\u201d Award will be presented at the Dixon Chamber\u2019s \u201cCelebrate Dixon<\/em>\u201d Annual Awards Night Dinner on March 14, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      *Please note, these are nominations and do not guarantee an award. The Dixon Chamber of Commerce does not nominate or vote for the winners of the award categories. The winners are voted by committees created by the community.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
