Criteria for Nominating the “2025 Business of the Year”

Below is the criteria for nominating the “2025 Business of the Year.”
The deadline is Thursday, February 5, 2026.

  1. Nominee must be a Member of the Chamber of Commerce
  2. Nominee business must be located in Dixon
  3. Monetary giving or volunteerism in the community
  4. Outstanding Customer Service
  5. Involvement in Dixon community events
  6. Nominees cannot be a Business of the Year winner from the prior 5 years
  7. Businesses cannot nominate themselves
  8. Must be a business in Dixon for at least a year

*Non-Profit Clubs & Organizations are Ineligible for this Award.

Please submit a letter of recommendation explaining why you believe the nominee is worthy of this prestigious award. Recipient of this award will be chosen based on the criteria above, NOT on the number of nominations received.

All letters submitted must be signed and dated. All letters must be received at the Chamber office no later than 12 noon on Thursday, February 5, 2026. You must include the following information or your nomination will not be considered:

  1. Business name, address, phone number, and owner or manager
  2. Your name, address, and phone number

This award should be a surprise to the recipient. Therefore, you should not tell them that their business has been nominated. The Dixon “2025 Business of the Year” Award will be presented at the Dixon Chamber’s “Celebrate Dixon Annual Awards Night” on March 14, 2026.

*Please note, these are nominations and do not guarantee an award. The Dixon Chamber of Commerce does not nominate or vote for the winners of the award categories. The winners are voted by committees created by the community.
